I don’t think Daniel understands DSA as it stands these days, but that’s probably because mostly what people see is AOC. If Democratic elites could press a button to make us disappear, they would. That’s hardly “in bed.” However, we do need to keep pushing independent candidates where possible. But here inDuluth, our DSA endorsed county commissioner Ashley Grimm (also endorsed by the Dems) got a lot of crossover independent and some Trump vote support, purely by being a good campaigner and a great bread and butter commissioner. You get money for youth hockey and it hardly matters who endorses you.
