Steven Raney is a member of Marxist Unity Group, a caucus in Democratic Socialists of America (DSA). He is also a member of Young Democratic Socialists of America (YDSA). This year, Steven is running for YDSA's National Coordinating Committee (NCC) at-large. Steven is the author of R21: Winning the Battle for Democracy, which was voted on and passed at last year’s YDSA convention. R21 has inspired similar resolutions, including one recently passed by Cleveland DSA.
