another problem is gerontocracy and lack of term or age limits. Dem congressmen die of old age and, because they are in red states, no election is scheduled to replace them. https://www.thedailybeast.com/three-democrats-who-died-this-year-would-have-sunk-trumps-big-beautiful-bill/

Why have any restriction if people have the power to choose a candidate of their choice in a democratic system with multiple parties and party candidates to vote for? I am not sure we can assume the same problems that exist now, would carry over; some might.

We need another revolution. And a new socialist constitution.

This is great. I don’t know if you have already done this but can you compare and contrast our Constitution with those you would find more democratic?

Thank you. The closest form of government to being democratic based on one person, one equal vote are parliamentary systems. They have multiple parties that get representation in a democratic assembly with proportional voting. The more votes a party gets, the more members it gets in the assembly. Check those countries with modern constitutions like the Scandinavian and European countries with that type of government. They make it easier to amend their constitutions and the assemblies can have a no vote of confidence and force the current governments out with voting.
